This turntable is a high end and highly collectable, manufactured by the British audio firm J.A. Michell Engineering Ltd. during the mid-to-late 1970s. Succeeding the famous Transcriptors Hydraulic Reference deck (known for its appearance in Stanley Kubrick's film A Clockwork Orange), this model swapped out the complex mechanical fluid-well speed governance for an advanced, ultra-precise electronic speed-control motorboard. See photos as this is a really good example.
Please contact us before purchasing, to check availability as may have been advertised and sold elsewhere. Thanks.
The general condition is very good, the lid has some age related surface scratches. Though no cracks or chips or damage to the plastic lid.
